Can I just say that I have been waiting for this day for the longest time? It is a monumental day in my life. Today is December 20, 2018. I just completed the rest of my finals. I have completed the first semester of senior year. Only one more semester to go. I can say that I was accepted into college because I was. I am on my way to get a guide dog. Soon, I am getting vision equipment that will change my life forever. This first semester has been quite the year. I have accomplished so much including making this blog. I am more proud of myself than I have ever been. One thing I know I will be doing the minute I get out of here at noon is to go and get something to eat and just plop down on my bed. Right now I am extremely sick and feeling terrible. I woke up this morning with a fever, a sore jaw, a massive headache and pain in my ears but I am here and I have conquered what I needed to conquer. The rest of the day is going to be taken for myself. I am going to relax, watch tv and spend this holiday season with my family.
I know I do so many posts about being blind, but here is just a real-life post. It is Christmas break, everyone go enjoy it with your family. Try not to worry about what is ahead and just be happy for what you have now. If y’all would like me to do a “What I got For Christmas on my blog, just leave a comment down below and I sure will. Hopefully I get the camera that is on my list for Christmas and I will be starting a YouTube channel to show you guys what days in my life actually look like and to take y’all to college with a service dog. Hopefully you guys enjoy this blog as much as I do.
I know this is a short post, but I have relaxing to do. Thank you to everyone who has followed my journey thus far. You guys are the best followers I could ever hope for.
