  1. I came to be invited to this page by your mother. She is a super lady and a super awesome nurse. She gave me lots of encouragement and guidance during the time that we worked together. I was a nurse aide, studying to be a nurse, during the time that we worked together. Today, I am an LPN. Curiously, this proverb is one of the quotes that I used to help me through the many difficult times of working those long, hard night shifts, except the quote I am familiar with is “No journey is too long with good company.” and it is attributed to a Turkish Proverb. Anyway, the saying is true, whether it be about a shift or about life. It brings much comfort. I will share the link to your blog and I hope that it is helpful to you and to others who may know of someone who has challenges on their journey.

  2. Dear Zoe. It’s Linda from Maryland, your grandfather’s cousin. My sister Patty forwarded your blog. It is so beautifully written! You are and always have been a special girl. Do you remember coming to our house when you lived here? I can’t believe you are 17! 😱. Time flies. So you are getting a Labrador guide dog. Wonderful. We lost our Labrador this year at 13 years old. The best dog ever. You will have a new friend. Max and I would love to continue receiving your blogs. Are you a junior in high school? Good luck on the ACT’s. I’ll bet you do great. Looking forward to more Zoe news. 💕💕💕. Linda and Max Wingerd
